Meet Dr. Abey and Dr. PHASUK
DR. SAVI ABEY

Dr. Abey grew up in Valparaiso, Indiana. She graduated from Purdue University in 1999, with a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science Engineering. Her 4 years as a Materials Science Engineer launched her interest in the science of Dentistry.
In 2007, Dr. Abey graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI with her D.D.S. While in dental school, she was able to combine her engineering background with dentistry by delving into Dental Materials research. Also while in dental school, she was given the opportunity to work as a lab technician within a Prosthodontic practice affiliated with Marquette. Her work at the practice opened her eyes to the specialty of Prosthodontics, the complexity of cases, and a deeper understanding of dentistry as a whole.
Dr. Abey completed a 36-month residency in Advanced Prosthodontics and surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, graduating in 2010. Her evidence-based residency had a specific focus on implant dentistry, surgery, as well as complex restorations. Dr. Abey is proficient in utilizing the latest technologies in implant placement and implant restorations. While in her residency, Dr. Abey continued to combine her background in materials engineering with dentistry by doing extensive research on titanium dental implants.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Abey taught as a clinical professor at the Indiana University School of Dentistry for 6 years. She taught Fixed Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry to pre-doctoral students.
Dr. Abey lives in Carmel with her husband and two children. She is looking forward to serving the Central Indiana community by providing the highest quality of Prosthodontic care. Dr. Abey is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontics (board eligible), ADA/IDA and IDDS. In her spare time, Dr. Abey is an outdoor enthusiast and constant DIYer.
